Understand the pain means understanding the patient Even beyond everyday life in the clinic, the topic of back pain preoccupies us. We seek dialogue with affected persons and are eager to know more about how they deal with the disease. In this manner, for example, from numerous discussions with patients within the framework of informational events, we know how people feel who have experienced no relief from their pain in years.
Doctors' lack of understanding, as well as inadequate time spent with individual disease history is constantly addressed. Our philosophy begins with this point: "Understanding pain" means above all understanding the patient and his or her circumstances, because even the best therapy is of little use if it is not tailored exactly to the disease profile. In extensive discussions, we not only prepare documentation and analysis of the previous measures of treatment, but also build a trusting doctor-patient relationship, which is so important for solving complex medical problems. Our entire clinical and personnel organization is coordinated so as to allow for the most boundless doctoral care and devotion possible - a demanding standard which we can uphold, owing to many years of experience as a highly specialized clinic.
