What role do muscle relaxants play in pain therapy?
In addition to fast treatment of acute pain, muscle relaxants frequently prevent pain from becoming chronic. They reduce painful muscle tension, in order to break the vicious circle of an initial cause of pain followed by an increase in muscle tension leading to more pain.
