How does microtherapy of the spinal column work? Herniated discs

Multiple procedures are possible through the microtherapeutic entry. By one or more herniated discs, the surgeon can remove the bulging disc tissue through the micro-trocar with his fine instruments under direct observation through a surgical microscope. If the herniated disc is in a difficult position, so that the micro-trocar can't be inserted directly into the disc tissue, it is possible to expand the spinal canal with the help of special, narrow instruments, in order to enable access. Through the procedure, the pinched spinal nerve is relieved.
