Medication for medium pain (NSAR) Non-steroidal anti-rheumatics (NSAR), such as Diclofenac, Ibuprofen, or the new COX-2-Inhibitor, belong to the most-prescribed painkillers. Active ingredients like Diclofenac have proven effective in treatment, yet they can also have undesired side effects on the stomach or intestines. Such side effects occur more seldom with Ibuprofen. With the new COX-2-Inhibitor, however, more tolerable painkillers are available, which hardly result in stomach or intestinal intolerances. These painkillers are implemented for medium pain.
