For your first visit, we request that you bring all available x-rays, computertomographic and MRI photographs, as well as outside results, such as neurological and internist reports, and other such operating reports. If precise diagnostic and therapeutic injections in the area of the spinal column are to be implemented in our clinic, or if infusions are necessary by severe pain, a stay in our monitoring room will possibly be required.

Interdisciplinary Case Study

If open questions remain following various methods of examination which have already been conducted by other doctors, as well as our internal pain conference, and our own examination results, there is the possibility of further clarification through patient introduction within the framework of the interdisciplinary Colloquium for Pain Therapeutics. Out-patient diagnostic clarification and out-patient interventional pain therapy

Acute and chronic pain conditions which have proven untreatable on an out-patient basis can be treated under stationary conditions on a short-term in-patient basis. In particular, patients traveling from abroad profit from this diagnostic and therapeutic offer. The type and duration of diagnostic measures, as well as a plan of therapy, are discussed with the patient before admittance.

In addition to diagnostic and therapy, the first rehabilitation measures can begin during an in-patient stay.

Additionally, we coordinate the individual ambulant follow-up treatment. For such patients, week-long health visits to rehabilitation clinics can be avoided.
