Temporary elimination of the sympathetic ganglionic nerve center

Temporary elimination of the sympathetic ganglionic nerve center Iin the sacrum, as well as thoracic and lumbar spinal column

Thoracic spinal column

With the help of an image converter, and, if necessary, the use of an x-ray contrast intensifier, a special injection needle is precisely placed in the area of the sympathetic ganglionic nerve center (sympathicolysis) Following precise placement, various medications are injected.

Lumbar spinal column

The treatment is similar to TSC procedure, except in the lumbar region.

Sacrum

The treatment is similar to the LSC procedure, except that the injection needle is placed presacral or precoccygeal.

Indication TSC

  • occlusive arterial disease of the upper extremities
  • brachial plexus ( arm nerve center) damage following radiation therapy

  • phantom limb pain
  • post-herpies neuralgia (severe nerve pain following herpes infection)

  • acute herpes zoster (shingles)

Indication LSC

  • occlusive arterial disease of the lower extremities

  • sympathetic reflex dystrophy (skin and soft tissue degeneration caused by poor circulation)

Indication Sacrum

  • pain caused by tumor infiltration of the pelvis

  • pelvic and leg pain caused by tumor infiltration of the pelvis
