When do I have to be x-rayed

When do I have to be x-rayed?

The conventional x-ray image is, despite all current advances of medical diagnostics, yet an indispensable method to exactly identify signs of degeneration, displacement, breaks, and tumor-like changes.
The conventional x-ray image shows the doctor, however, even the tiniest changes in bones that are caused by metabolic diseases, such as rheuma, diabetes, or gout.

An x-ray image is necessary by back pain in order to identify the extent of arthrosis, and to rule out serious causes of pain, such as a (thank God) seldom occurring bone tumor. In the case of osteoporosis patients, who in some instances aren't yet aware of their disease, an x-ray image of the spinal column provides first indications of previously undiscovered vertebral breaks.
