Computertomographic- and image converter-aided Interventional Pain Therapy
Several procedures belonging to modern pain therapy get steered through computer tomography or image-converters. In how far pain therapy profits by this, we are going to explain in the following contributions.
Especially three procedures of pain therapy will come up:
- Injection treatment for small vertebral joints (facet block)
- Injection treatment near the nerve roots of the cervical (CSC), thoracic (TSC), and lumbar (LSC) spinal column
- Temporary elimination of the sympathetic ganglionic nerve center
